A free virtual event for educators, school leaders, and advocates who give a care

Learn trauma-informed practices from 17+ lived-experience experts to create classrooms and communities rooted in felt-safetyconnection, and co-regulation — without losing yourself in the process.

 You care deeply...and it's heavy.

If you’re the kind of educator, school leader, or helping professional who shows up for students while carrying more than most people see, you’ve probably felt the strain: burnout, behavior concerns, grief, family stress, constant change, and the pressure to “keep going” even when your body is asking for support.

What if trauma-informed education could be sustainable — not just well-intended?

What if creating safety, connection, and co-regulation for students didn’t require you to lose yourself in the process?

Welcome to the TraumaWise Education Summit

This is not another professional development experience asking educators to do more with less.

It’s a capacity-building space for educators, school leaders, support staff, caregivers, advocates, and youth-serving professionals who want practical trauma-informed support that can hold up in real classrooms, real relationships, and real communities.

Together, we’ll explore how to prepare the helper, repair felt-safety, honor story and connection, practice co-regulation, and implement change at the speed of trust and capacity — without losing ourselves in the process.

MAYBE RIGHT NOW YOU FEEL...

Stretched thin from trying to support students, families, colleagues, and yourself

Tired of good intentions that don’t stick when systems are overwhelmed and change feels hard to sustain

Unsure what safety really looks like when behavior, grief, trauma, or broken trust enters the room

Heavy with what others are carrying and wondering how to stay present without losing yourself

There has to be a better way!

What if you could feel...

Ready to build sustainable change through community, small rhythms, and trust-based implementation

Supported in connection without over-carrying honoring story, truth, grief, and boundaries

More equipped to create felt-safety through predictability, dignity, choice, and the environment around you

Clearer about your next right step with tools that honor real capacity

This is what trauma-wise education can feel like — steady, human, and sustainable.

 What You’ll Experience

  • Practical Tools for Trauma-Wise EducationStrategies and reflection tools to support classrooms and communities rooted in felt-safety, connection, and co-regulation.
  • Shared Language + Lived Wisdom — No buzzwords. Just grounded frameworks that work in real classrooms, real conversations, and real human constraints.
  • A Brave, Gentle Learning Space — You’re not doing this alone. This summit is designed as a trauma-wise community of practice where your questions, capacity, and lived experience are welcomed without judgment.
  • An Integration Point — This isn’t just theory. It’s preparation for sustainable practice — so trauma-informed education can become steady, humane, and possible to carry forward.

Who It's For

This is for you if you're...

  • An educator, school leader, or support professional feeling stretched thin but still deeply committed to students
  • A helper, caregiver, advocate, or youth-serving professional navigating grief, behavior concerns, trauma, burnout, and too much urgency
  • A cycle-breaker or community-builder who wants trauma-informed practices that are compassionate, practical, and actually usable
  • A values-driven educator or leader seeking more than checkbox training — you want learning communities rooted in dignity, belonging, repair, and sustainable change

What Makes This Event Unique

You don’t need another education training telling you to “build resilience,” “manage behavior,” or “practice self-care” — while ignoring the reality that many educators are working inside systems shaped by urgency, overload, grief, unmet needs, and quiet self-abandonment.

Good news — this is not that.

The TraumaWise Education Summit was created for educators, school leaders, support professionals, advocates, and helpers who give a care — and who feel the weight of that care in their bodies, their classrooms, their relationships, and the systems they’re trying to change.

Instead of offering quick fixes that fall apart in the middle of real school days, this summit meets you with:

  • Real tools from real people — lived-experience leaders and practitioners who understand burnout, grief, behavior, adversity, nervous systems, and what it takes to build safety and connection inside real constraints.
  • A brave, gentle space — where you don’t have to defend why it’s hard to show up well when students, families, staff, and systems are all carrying so much. We already know.
  • Support that sustains — practices rooted in felt-safety, connection, and co-regulation, not shame, fear, perfection, or pressure.
  • A quiet revolution — because choosing dignity, repair, belonging, and humanity inside overwhelmed systems is resistance… and it’s how education becomes livable again.

This summit isn’t about doing more.
It’s about doing it differently — and not doing it alone.

HAVE QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS

How do I know whether this summit is right for me?

If you care about creating safer, more connected learning environments — and you’re looking for trauma-informed practices that can actually be sustained — this summit was created with you in mind.

We’ll be speaking especially to educators, school leaders, support staff, caregivers, advocates, and youth-serving professionals who are holding student needs, family stress, grief, behavior concerns, burnout, and system pressure while still wanting to be part of healing and prevention.

You don’t need to be an expert in trauma-informed care to attend. This summit is a welcoming place to begin, deepen, or reconnect with practices rooted in Felt-Safety, Connection, and Co-Regulation — without needing to carry it all alone.

When is this event happening?

The 2026 Education Summit runs from July 13-17, 2026. You’ll also be able to join our Education Summit Community as soon as you register, so you can join in on the fun right away!

What if I’m not able to attend live?

That’s okay. This summit was designed with real human capacity in mind.

The presentations will be available virtually, and you’ll be able to engage at a pace that works for your life, schedule, and nervous system. You do not have to attend everything live, keep up perfectly, or “catch up” in a way that creates more pressure.

Come for what supports you. Return when you can. Let enough be enough.

There will also be an optional TraumaWise Toolkit upgrade if you’d like extended access to the presentations, audio, transcripts, and additional resources.

How long will I have access to the presentations?

All presentation recordings will be available starting July 13, 2026 and through July 17, 2026. If you need more time, you can always upgrade your ticket to the TraumaWise ToolKit after registering, which will give you extended access to the presentations along with premium bonuses from our speakers and more!

Are the presentations live?

To avoid tech glitches, give you the best possible experience, and keep things easy for the speakers, most of the presentations are pre-recorded and will be released at a scheduled time during the summit. However, the speakers will be hanging out in our Education Summit Community with dedicated threads where you can connect with them and ask your questions! There will also be opportunities to join us for bonus live events throughout the week.

Will all the speakers get my email address?

No. When you register, you’ll be added to the TraumaWise email list so we can send you updates for the event and links to each day’s presentations. After the summit is over, you’ll continue to hear from us, but you can unsubscribe at any time.

Each of the speakers will have free resources available that you can access by providing an email address, but the speakers will not get your email address unless you choose to give it to them specifically. That way, you only hear from the people you really love and don't have to worry about getting added to 15 email lists that you're not interested in.

You can learn more in our Privacy policy.

Are your videos captioned or transcribed?

Yes. All presentations have closed captioning available, and we are creating transcriptions of each presentation for all registrants. An extended workbook with additional notes is also available with our upgrade options that you’ll see after registering for the event.

Please reach out if there’s anything we can do to ensure you’re able to enjoy this event.

I still have questions!

If you still have questions, we encourage you to go ahead and sign up. Your questions will likely be answered during the event or in the Education Summit Community, which you’ll be able to join right away after grabbing your free ticket.

However, if you need to ask us a question before registering, feel free to send us an email at renae@traumawise.com
