It covers a wide range of topics, from the basics of trauma to advanced training methodologies.
This program is for parents, professionals, community leaders, educators, counselors, and anyone passionate about trauma-informed practices and looking to make a significant impact in the field.
The program spans 6-9 months, combining live sessions with on-demand content to offer a holistic learning experience.
Participants should plan to dedicate 2-4 hours a week to the program, which includes live sessions, on-demand content, assignments, and co-facilitation sessions.
The program costs $2,000 in full. We also offer flexible 3-month and 5-month payment plans for those who need them.
While there are no strict prerequisites, a background or interest in counseling, psychology, education, or a related field can be beneficial.
Assessment is a mix of quizzes, assignments, self-assessments, cohort assessments, and real-time training scenarios (practicums). The focus is on the application of material in real-world settings.
The TraumaWise Trainer Program will accept applications during 4 periods each year.
For 2024, they are as follows:
- 2024 Cohort B (training begins Jun 1) - applications May 9 - 30, 2024
- 2024 Cohort C (training begins Sep 1) - applications Aug 9 - 31, 2024
- 2024 Cohort D (training begins Dec 1) - applications Nov 1 - 15, 2024
Yes, upon successful completion of the program, participants will be certified to provide TraumaWise Trainings and Learning Group training sessions.
Certified trainers will be added to the TW Trainers Database, which is publicly searchable. They'll also have opportunities to facilitate training sessions, engage in continuous learning, and more.
Participants can reach out during regular office hours or through a dedicated email. There's also an online community forum for peer support and interaction.
You can apply directly on our website. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and training cohorts typically begin on the 5th day of the first month of each quarter.
Participants will need a computer with internet access, an email account, and the ability to access Google Drive for team projects.
Absolutely! Our platform is user-friendly, and we provide guidance on how to access and utilize all course materials. Plus, our support team is always here to help.
We offer a 14-day refund policy from the start date of the cohort. If you feel the program isn't right for you within that period, you can request a full refund.
