Heidi Dunstan

Certified Grief Educator

Heidi is a Certified Grief Educator, International Best-Selling Co-Author, and International Speaker. She has spoken at Harvard University, and Oxford University with a passion for changing the narrative on grief so we don’t lose the legacies of those we have lost. She educates people about grief, and how to support others who are grieving, as she learned firsthand after losing her husband unexpectedly in 2018.

Her experience with friends and loved ones saying the wrong thing or completely disappearing gave her first-hand knowledge that many people have never learned how to grieve, which often leaves grievers to grieve in isolation, and it means we stop talking about those we have lost. Heidi is helping people to feel equipped to lean in and support their loved ones so we can grieve with grace together.

Jesse’s personal experiences early in life, marked by both tragedy and triumph, as well as the support he has received from his family, friends, and professional network, have positioned him to play a role in helping to support and build the trauma-informed movement, which he feels fortunate to be a part of.

He lives in Washington, DC, with the love of his life and their two guinea pigs, Bryce and Jalen, and gets to visit his family back in Philly at least once a month during executive weekends in his Master's program at Penn. He has always held a strong vision and hope for the future.
