Renae M. Dupuis, M.Div (she/her), is the Founder and Chief Enculturation Officer of TraumaWise. She is an influential advocate and educator dedicated to trauma-informed care. With over a decade of experience in caring for trauma-impacted youth, Renae has emerged as a prominent figure in trauma healing and resilience-building.

Renae’s profound dedication to equipping individuals, organizations, and communities with trauma-informed practices has garnered recognition and respect in the field. Her involvement in creating trauma-informed spaces and places through TraumaWise showcases her commitment to empowering individuals to navigate their healing journey with compassion and resilience.

Adair Finucane, LMSW

Adair Finucane, LMSW, RYT, is a trauma-informed coach, speaker, & facilitator. As a stress management and burnout specialist known for her authentic, open-hearted leadership style and passion for co-regulated nervous systems, Adair helps those who are gifted at helping others to take great care of themselves.

Adair’s work is informed by lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent mom navigating CPTSD, as well as her professional background as a trauma & perinatal mental health researcher, trauma therapist, multidisciplinary artist, yoga & meditation teacher, and Ayurvedic wellness coach. She believes that trauma-informed practices are an essential step in creating a safer and freer world.

Alyssa Rose walks with those navigating life's most profound transitions. As a Grief Guide & Ritualist in Portland Oregon, she bridges ancient ritual practices with modern somatic therapies to create sacred spaces for those facing loss, separation, and deep change.

Drawing from her extensive work with individuals, families and communities, Alyssa’s unique approach to grief care honors the somatic, emotional and spiritual dimensions of the liminal and alchemical process of grieving.

Ce Eshelman, LMFT, is an Attachment and Trauma Specialist, bestselling author of "Drowning with My Hair on Fire—Insanity Relief for Adoptive Parents" and "20 Things Children from Difficult Beginnings Wish Friends and Families Knew," and owner of The Attach Place Center for Strengthening Relationships, LLC, in Sacramento, CA. With 37 years of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, she began specializing in attachment and trauma healing 25 years ago after adopting her two children from the foster care system.

Ce has made it her mission to educate as many professionals and caregivers as possible in the art of healing Complex Developmental Trauma in children from difficult beginnings.

Courtney Carlson


Spiritual and emotional healing leader

Courtney is a Christian author, speaker, and transformational coach who has authored six books despite living with dyslexia, demonstrating that limitations don’t define destiny. She offers practical, simplified breakthrough tools through her workbooks and video courses—Self Discovery and Intimacy with God—available on her website. Courtney’s coaching approach centers on self-awareness, radical honesty, and deepening intimacy with God, helping individuals experience real emotional healing and spiritual breakthroughs.

Dana Brown

PACEs Science Statewide Facilitator

Dana Brown is a seasoned inner-city community organizer and leader who has founded multiple youth leadership groups across elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as in an inner-city Police Division in partnership with the Juvenile Services Team. She serves as the PACEs (Positive & Adverse Childhood Experiences) Science Statewide Facilitator with TREC and Organizational Liaison with PACEs Connection. Dana was involved in the first iterations of the Trauma-Resilient Educational Communities (TREC) Model that supports schools in the Learn4Life network and social service fields. She has facilitated over 350 cross-sector training sessions statewide and across the country.

Dana passionately advocates for humanizing our work and living spaces through equity-focused, healing-centered, and trauma-resilient transformative practices, and sustainable systems-change, and has impacted over 10,000 individuals.

Dr. David Adams

Founder and President, New Life Psychology Group

Dr. Adams is a proud adoptive parent (2 adoptive teens) and foster parent of two young children. He has managed to keep his sanity in the process as a single parent on top of his full time job as a licensed psychologist. He is the founder of New Life Psychology Group in Orange County. He is a part time professor at National University and an expert trainer with Foster and Kinship Care Education (FKCE) as well.

His newly released book called "Trauma-Informed Foster and Adoptive Parenting: Methods for Managing Meltdowns, Mishaps, and Maladaptive behaviors" Is expected to be a valuable resource for parents and professionals who want to be better understand their child's behavior with a trauma-informed lens.

David Starbuck Smith

David Starbuck Smith is a published author, health, wellness, and corporate speaker, whole-body health and athletic performance coach, and Accredited Exercise Therapist who has been helping people of all ages and walks of life solve their acute and chronic injuries, aches, and pains for over 25 years.

He is an expert in anatomy, muscle and joint mechanics, gait mechanics, and treating acute and chronic pain. His books include Ageless, Painless Tennis, and Align, Feel, Heal – An Integrated Approach to Eliminating Chronic Pain at Its Roots.

Emily Remsen

After spending the last decade teaching and working on program design in a variety of school, church, and community program settings, targeted towards including children and adults of all abilities, Emily Remsen has now turned her career towards partnering with families, educators, and churches to create supportive environments, filled with individualized resources, as an IEP advocate, educational therapist in private practice, and ministry inclusion consultant.

Emily is passionate about building inclusive communities, where individuals of all abilities can thrive. She’s dedicated her career to helping families navigate the educational system and advocate for the unique needs of their children.

Georgia Etheridge Stephens

Georgia Stephens, MA, CCLS is a Certified Child Life Specialist, full spectrum doula, and founder of The Pod Family Center in Los Angeles. With over a decade supporting families through medical trauma, loss, and life-altering crises, Georgia brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her work. After the birth of her daughter, she navigated severe postpartum depression, anxiety, and complex PTSD, ultimately seeking intensive treatment that transformed her recovery and reshaped her life’s mission.

Today, she supports parents through perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, offering trauma-informed care that blends emotional support, practical guidance, and community connection. Georgia’s work spans private doula services, group facilitation, and speaking engagements, where she shares her story of survival, healing, and rebuilding with authenticity and hope. She is passionate about breaking stigma, fostering resilience, and ensuring families know they are never alone in their journey.

Hope Reger

Executive Director

Hope Reger is a grief advocate, published author, and inspirational speaker who lives in Xenia, Ohio, with her husband, Mike. She has two sons: Brian, who is 35, and Justin, who will forever be 19. Hope also has a daughter-in-law, Mollie, and three beautiful grandchildren: Haylynn, Adalynn, and Brilie.

After 27 years in a corporate role, Hope recently retired to focus primarily on her nonprofit organization, Grief 2 Hope, which she founded in 2020 following the tragic murder of her son in 2016. Grief 2 Hope serves as a peer grief support group, offering a safe space for anyone grieving, along with support, hope, compassion, and inspiration throughout their healing journey.

One of Hope's favorite quotes, which she shares at the end of each session, is: "Grief changes your entire world; it can also inspire you to change the world."

Karen Yingling

Educational Advocate

Karen Yingling brings a wealth of experience to her role as a parent advocate. Her background includes facilitating the partnering process for multi-million-dollar public construction projects, bringing together team members to achieve a cohesive and shared objective of successful project delivery. She spent three years on the administration management team of a K-12 school, working with parents and staff and training staff on trauma-informed school practices. She has specialty training in parenting children with a trauma history.

Karen is a member of the Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates and has completed their comprehensive SEAT training. Additionally, she has personal experiences with the educational IEP process as the mother of two teenagers with significant special needs.

Kate Lynch

Mindful Parenting Coach for Neurodiverse Families

Kate Lynch (she/her) is a somatic mindfulness coach on a mission to create a kinder, more inclusive world. Since 2002, she has supported thousands of highly sensitive parents to regulate their nervous systems so they can feel more grounded, confident, and relaxed. Widely known for her compassionate, nonjudgmental approach, Kate is the author of the upcoming book, Atypical Kids, Mindful Parents: The joys and struggles of raising neurodivergent kids.

Her little neurodiverse family lives in a magical land called Brooklyn.

Lotus La Loba (she/her) is a reverend, writer, keynote speaker, and beauty theologian blending spiritual wisdom with grounded healing for Black women and creatives. Born and raised in New York City, she brings a raw mix of grit and grace - she's lovingly calls it 'hood and holy'.

She’s led transformative sessions for Fortune 500 companies like Meta, Google, and global brands including Spotify and LVMH. Her work centers emotional freedom, energy healing, and creative restoration through EFT, ritual, and storytelling.

As the voice behind The Dark Divines and Lotus Living on Substack, Lotus writes as an act of devotion - inviting readers to return to their power, beauty, and divine timing. Through her podcast LOTUSLIKE and signature programs, she creates spaces where healing is sensual, sacred, and sustainable.

Louis Scarantino is a distinguished autism advocate, a certified motivational speaker, and a celebrated author within the autism community.

His journey towards becoming a motivational speaker took a significant leap when he earned his certification from IAP Career College.

He began his speaking career by honing his skills at Toastmasters, where his hard work resulted in the Toastmasters Competent Communicator Certificate.

Maria Belanic

Meghann Dawson is a certified empowerment coach, trauma survivor, and host of the Becoming is Messy podcast. With over two decades of experience leading people and programs, she now dedicates her work to helping others reclaim their voice and worth after trauma. Meghann brings lived experience to every conversation—surviving family violence, medical trauma, sexual assault, infertility, and the life-altering discovery that her father wasn’t her biological parent.

Today, she creates safe spaces for healing through storytelling, speaking, and coaching. Her work is rooted in the belief that while trauma leaves a mark, it does not define us—and that what children need most is to be seen, believed, and supported without shame.

Meghann’s honest, relatable approach highlights the importance of compassion to break cycles of silence and heal toward wholeness, one messy and meaningful step at a time.

Melanie Williams, the NonJudgemental Therapist, is a Licensed Psychotherapist LCSW-C, a Behavioral Health Administrator, and an Author. She believes that everyone should have education to care for their mental health, and that therapy should be used as a tool to empower rather than as a weapon.

Melanie has had the privilege of providing therapy for adults, children, couples, and families for over a decade, and most recently, she led a Behavioral Health Department for the largest healthcare provider in the DMV. She provides mental health trainings, and her mental health advice has been featured in media platforms, such Authority Magazine, Times, and Newsweek.

She specializes in trauma-informed care and is currently pursuing her Doctorate with a focus on the impact of trauma on emotional formation.

Sai Praneetha Mutyala

Healthcare Entrepreneur | Public Health Researcher

Sai Praneetha Mutyala is a public health researcher, startup co-founder, and trauma-informed leadership advocate. She spent five years in the U.S. health insurance industry, rising through leadership roles while silently navigating burnout and recovering from a transient ischemic attack (TIA). She now co-leads GenebiotiX, a healthcare innovation company initially built to solve clinical trial challenges for doctors and principal investigators. But through her own healing journey, she has expanded its vision—to explore how genomics and AI can also decode the emotional imprints within the body.

She is currently developing When The Body Speaks, a two-phase storytelling and community initiative to bridge pain and people, science and support. Her work lives at the intersection of biology, emotion, and leadership—helping build systems where healing is not an afterthought, but the foundation.

Thomas R. Wilson is a professional Advocate, Writer, Consultant, Business Owner, and Sensory Friendly Event Specialist. His work is inspired by his own personal experiences within his life as a member of the Neuro-diverse and Mental health community.

His work has been highlighted internationally and he has partnered with over 40 + businesses in the United States. Overall, Thomas' work continues to be a bright spot that is celebrated by the community.

Originally from the Central Valley, she has always been committed to serving the local community. As the CEO of VMS Family Counseling Services, she leads a team of seven therapists, working with diverse clients to provide compassionate, evidence-based care.

Dr. Vicki specializes in working with individuals who have experienced foster care, adoption, or complex relational trauma. She prioritizes evidence-based treatments while tailoring her approach to each client’s unique needs. Grounded in a client-centered philosophy, she ensures individuals understand both the “what” and the “why” of therapy, empowering them to take an active role in their healing journey. Her expertise in relational trauma and healing, foster care and adoption, domestic violence and trauma, substance use, and mental health, and supporting children and adults with special needs has made her a leading speaker in these fields.
