I’m Your Host, Renae
Renae M. Dupuis, M.Div (she/her), is the Founder and Chief Enculturation Officer of TraumaWise. She is an influential advocate and educator dedicated to trauma-informed care. With over a decade of experience in caring for trauma-impacted youth, Renae has emerged as a prominent figure in trauma healing and resilience-building.
Renae’s profound dedication to equipping individuals, organizations, and communities with trauma-informed practices has garnered recognition and respect in the field. Her involvement in creating trauma-informed spaces and places through TraumaWise showcases her commitment to empowering individuals to navigate their healing journey with compassion and resilience.
Amanda Jane is on a mission to cultivate authentic leadership practices and workplace cultures that allow you to change the world without burning out in the process. She serves as a guide and pathmaker with a unique blend of expertise, creativity and passion. She is a bilingual poet, licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and earned a Masters of Public Health in 2018 from Columbia University.
After more than 15 years providing training, direct services, and project management for multinational clients, she launched her own consulting business to address workplace culture and wellbeing. She is known for her collaborative, insightful approach and specializes in burnout prevention, cross-cultural communication, and leadership development.
Brian Knowler is a veteran cop, retired lawyer, international speaker, and best-selling author involved in the justice system since 1994. He was diagnosed with job-related PTSD in 2012 after experiencing an incident involving the death of a close friend.
Brian has published two books and a novel about trauma and leadership, speaks professionally about mental health and public safety, and created the award-winning CAPITAL-L Leadership program.
Brian, his wonderfully patient wife Cathy, two sons and three dogs live in an old restored farmhouse in a quiet corner of southern Canada.
Carly Jo Bell is a Business Consultant and Sustainable Success Mentor who helps micro-business owners shift from chasing short-term revenue to building a sustainable, long-term business.
Through her coaching, training, and writing, she empowers her clients to expand their business-building acumen and self-trust—so they can confidently lead as CEOs, making strategic, values-aligned decisions about how to grow. Laura Rees is a yoga and meditation teacher focused on breath and movement for a stronger body and more creative energy. In addition to her work in yoga, Laura is the Co-Founder of Chaordic, an agency specializing in brand creation and digital marketing. She's supported hundreds of clients, ranging from nationally recognized names (like Food Network, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and Harvard) to favorite local businesses.
Her decades of working in a job that requires her to be creative on demand have given her firsthand experience of the cost of burnout both personally and professionally. That experience has also led to her creating the Full Soul Creativity Framework, a model that combines self-exploration, ancient wisdom, and daily creative practices to not only prevent and recover from burnout, but allow you to step into the fullest expression of your true self.
Dr. Margery Arnold is a Counseling Psychologist who is interested in prevention and early intervention of mental illness.
She is passionate about all the things humans can do for and with each other to bring healing and compassion to those of us with mental illness. She works to prevent Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) to improve the health of body, mind, spirit, and community.
She currently volunteers to help parishes start and sustain mental health ministries and serves on the founding board of the Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministers, CatholicMHM.org, as well as the Advisory Board of TraumaWise.
Senior Vice President of Foster Care Services for Global Impact International, and Co-Founder of the Restoration Rome Program, Mary Margaret Mauer is a passionate advocate and community organizer on behalf of foster children and foster families. She has served as an officer or board member for multiple local children service organizations, and she is the Co-Founder of the Floyd Faith Coalition for Families.
Having studied neurobiology at Emory and Georgia State University, Mary Margaret has focused her efforts on providing services for children who have experienced trauma in the foster care system, and applying strategies to reduce the number of children entering state care.
R. Alex Colston's clinical experience expands from early childhood through adulthood, treating such issues as anxiety and depression, trauma, self-worth, relationship distress, and parenting.
He believes that finding the way back to worthiness is the bravest thing anyone can do.

Tatiana Szulc is a First Generation Latina, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Holistic Coach. Tatiana specializes in helping women heal trauma and their nervous systems through holistic practices and a method called, Somatic Experiencing where you don't need to talk about or even remember your trauma to heal from it.
As a complex trauma survivor, Tatiana knows exactly what it's like to live in survival mode. Now that she's on the other side of healing, Tatiana is on a mission to heal as many nervous systems as she possibly can in this lifetime.
Thomas R. Wilson is a professional Advocate, Writer, Consultant, Business Owner, and Sensory Friendly Event Specialist. His work is centered around an empathic and person-first mindset that works to empower and uplift community voices. His work is inspired by his own personal experiences within his life as a member of the Neuro-diverse and Mental health community.
His work has been highlighted internationally and he has partnered with over 40 + businesses in the United States. Overall, Thomas' work continues to be a bright spot that is celebrated by the community.
As President of For The Children, Wendy McMahan mobilizes the local Church to serve children who have experienced relational trauma. Through Royal Family KIDS Camp and Mentoring, churches create life-changing moments for children in 43 U.S. states and 9 countries.
Wendy has over 20 years of experience serving vulnerable children. In the United States, she has led child welfare programs along a full continuum of care, including child abuse prevention, foster care, family reunification, and adoption. Previously, she facilitated church partnerships for the benefit of vulnerable children and families in developing countries. She holds a M.S. from Texas A&M University and is a Practitioner of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI). Wendy brings a passion for life change and a love for the Church. She and her husband Tim were foster parents for nine years and are the parents of three daughters.
Zander Sprague is an internationally acclaimed public speaker, Best-selling author, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). His mission is to help millions of people make the EPIC choices that create an EPIC life.
Drawing on his decades of work experience with companies of all sizes, Zander guides teams to achieve EPIC results. He is a member of the National Speakers Association and author of 3 books:
